It occurred to me that you might like to know more about my colleagues \u2013 these are the people focused on our client experience and ensuring your valuations are completed to the highest possible standards.<\/p>\n
We have a team of senior and junior analysts who work closely together on valuations projects and reports.<\/p>\n
Senior Analysts:<\/strong> Sahnan Syed and Prinkit Shah, who hold masters\u2019 degrees in Finance and Investment Management respectively. Sahnan finds deep technical analysis such as multi-layered \u00a0financial modelling and the exploration of different valuation methodologies especially rewarding, plus the interpretation of the results to create a coherent and defensible valuation. Prinkit says he particularly enjoys all aspects of technical valuation analysis and then translating complex financial findings into a clear, commercially focused narrative within a report.<\/p>\n Junior Analysts:<\/strong> Meagan Neves, Beatrice Rees-Mogg and Arthur Bourne. With their mix of maths, science and arts backgrounds, Meagan, Beatrice and Arthur provide critical back-up to Sahnan and Prinkit. They make sure financial data is thoroughly analysed and conduct macroeconomic and sector research to properly assess the opportunities and risks for client companies in a wider, commercial context. Meagan really enjoys the mathematical modelling element of a valuation. Beatrice is skilled at refining the arguments to improve defensibility. Arthur relishes the research that helps provide the backdrop and key factors that frame the valuation.<\/p>\n Reviewer:<\/strong> Myfanwy Craigie (BA German, University of Oxford; MA Literary Translation, University of East Anglia) is a fully trained editor and has the hidden talent of also being a translator (a skill we will surely be using as we spread into continental Europe). Her eye for narrative and detail ensures reports readable, clear and accurate.<\/p>\n Independent Reviewer:<\/strong> Richard Henderson, ACA, is one of our secret weapons. He advises the team on complex areas of valuations, especially where accounting standards come into play. Recently, he explained to the team the myriad situations where cash on the balance sheet isn\u2019t necessarily cash! Richard also acts as an independent reviewer, where there is a counterparty who needs that service.<\/p>\n Quality Assurance:<\/strong> Hatty Stafford Charles is our quality assurance manager \u2013 she oversees the operational infrastructure that will enable us to scale the business.<\/p>\n Business Development:<\/strong> Harry Cruickshank is Chief Commercial Officer and oversees sales and marketing activity, ably assisted by Jack Buchanan-Rolleston, our Client Relationship Manager. Their focus is building and maintaining relationships with our partners who refer client work to us, principally law firms. Effective engagement builds trust and confidence – understanding what lawyers and their clients need from the process and making sure each project goes smoothly from the first conversation to final delivery. Backed by our expert valuations team, this delivers a consistently high level of client experience and helps to underpin a high level of repeat work.<\/p>\n Technology:<\/strong> Simon West, our CTO, is responsible for the powerful operational architecture that supports the whole business and allows for rapid scaling.<\/p>\n Within the wider Athla business, there are other colleagues who work on non-valuations activities we are engaged in.
